Wirtschaftlichkeitsberechnung, Wiederverwendung von Bauteilen, Kalkulation von Abrissmengen) KW - Gebäude KW - Bauaufnahme KW - Datenerfassung KW - Modellierung Y1 - 2003 U6 - http://nbn-resolving.de/urn/resolver.pl?urn:nbn:de:gbv:wim2-20111215-3479 ER - TY - CHAP A1 - Wender, Katrin A1 - Donath, Dirk A1 - Petzold, Frank T1 - Preparation and provision of building information for planning within existing built contexts N2 - A prerequisite for planning within existing built contexts is precise information regarding the building substance, its construction and materials, possible damages and any modifications and additions that may have occurred during its lifetime. Using the information collected in a building survey the user should be able to “explore” the building in virtual form, as well as to assess the information contained with regard to a specific planning aspect. The functionality provided by an information module should cover several levels of information provision ranging from ‘simple retrieval’ of relevant information to the analysis and assessment of stored information with regard to particular question sets. Through the provision of basic functionality at an elementary level and the ability to extend this using plug-ins, the system concept of an open extendable system is upheld. Using this modular approach, different levels of information provision can be provided as required during the planning process. N2 - Object oriented building models are subject of comprehensive research activities aiming at the computer-supported management of building related information. An interesting approach discussed in this field is to set up a virtual digital building as a variable compound of several discipline specific object oriented models. Because of its flexible form of organization such a digital representation can be easily modified and enhanced throughout the entire life cycle of a building, and therefore it is well suited as a basis for a digital cross-life cycle documentation of a building. Such a documentation can serve as an important information base for the planing of any reconstruction work on the particular building. However the decentralized organization of the model compound does not support an intuitive navigation and information seeking. The model schemata can be very complex and a particular real world object may have multiple digital representations spread among the discipline specific models. The work presents the development of a generic core of an adaptable information seeking environment which focuses especially at supporting cross-disciplinary information needs information needs in early project phases. The approach proposed in this work enhances the model compound concept by two additional layers: the navigation structure an the user interface. The navigation structure overlays the model compounds and serves as its table of contents. Each real world object is represented in the navigation structure by an unique identifier. The multiple discipline specific representations of a particular real world object are linked to its identifier and therefor accessible from a central entry point. Within the generic core an object oriented data structure is defined, that allows for the storage and management of project specific instances of the navigation structure. For information seeking planners will have to interact with the information space containing the model compound and the navigation structure. Therefore the user interface has to support any kind of unpredictable and spontaneous information need. Also it has to be adaptable in terms of the searching strategies it supports. The proposed system concept bases on an hierarchical organization which allows for configuration by changing and/or adding of modules. The generic core defines an object oriented framework for the individual implementation of the user interface. The generic core is formally specified on an implementation-independent level. Several experimental prototypes prove the technical feasibility of critical aspects of the system concept.
